Land Surveyor – Building Construction in Manama

Key Responsibilities

Conduct land, topographic, and construction surveys to establish reference points, benchmarks, and boundaries for civil and structural works.

Set out project coordinates, levels, and alignments based on approved drawings and design data.

Perform precise measurements using total stations, GPS, auto-levels, and other modern surveying instruments.

Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at site.

Prepare and maintain survey reports, field notes, and as-built data in accordance with project requirements.

Collaborate with engineers, draftsmen, and site supervisors to ensure proper execution of setting-out works.

Monitor construction progress and ensure works are carried out within the designed levels, coordinates, and tolerances.

Update and revise survey data to reflect site modifications, design changes, or consultant instructions.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and adhere to company quality procedures during survey operations.

Assist in preparing as-built drawings, layout plans, and survey documentation for project handover.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or Surveying Technology.

3–6 years of relevant experience as a Land Surveyor in the construction industry (GCC experience preferred).

Proficient in using Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, and survey data processing software.

Strong knowledge of surveying principles, leveling techniques, and construction layouts.

Good understanding of Civil, Structural, and Infrastructure project requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and documentation.

Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple site tasks under pressure.

Valid GCC driving license will be an advantage.
