QHSE Engineer in Dammam

Nesma Industrial Services Is looking for QHSE Engineer.

Job description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dammam for the role of QHSE Engineer. The QHSE Engineer will be responsible for implementing quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company-specific requirements.

Key responsibilities:

– Responsible for all documentation in relation to health and safety and quality, you will be required to keep all documentation and safety manuals up to date and distribute appropriately within the organization.

– Prepare QHSE policies and procedures which must meet quality and certification in ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.

– Carry out safety training for all employees.

– Manage reports and present summaries to management with suggested solutions.

– Management Representative for the Quality Management System (QMS).

– Ensure implementation of QMS in all departments, conduct internal and external audits.

– Create, Follow and Report Inspection and Test Plans for all projects.

– Perform inspection of incoming materials, in-process production and final products.

– Ensures protective coatings and paints meet quality standards on structures.

– Checking surface preparation (cleaning), coating application, and final film thickness.

– Conduct inspections on sub-contractor premises for all outsourced projects.

– Conduct Factory Acceptance Test of all out-going equipment.

– Liaise with client QA/QC and sub-contractor QA/QC for all quality related matters.

– Arrange and conduct third party inspections.

– Create and control quality manuals for all products and services.

– Record all non-conformance incidents reported internally or externally.

– Record all lessons learnt at the end of each project.

– Review compliance of manufactured products to relevant safety standards.

– Enforce good workmanship in daily operation activities.

Skills

Minimum Experience of 5 Years in a senior QHSE role

Excellent verbal skills are essential as you will be expected to participate in the devising, supervision and delivery of training programmers.

You will be expected to be able operate Microsoft Windows applications Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Working knowledge of conducting NDT, Pressure tests and Load Tests.

Working knowledge of conducting third party inspections for equipment use in Hazardous Zones.

Working knowledge of OSHA or Aramco Safety standards.

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices.

Ability to develop and deliver training programs focused on workplace safety and QHSE management systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Relevant certifications in QHSE or related fields are an advantage (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

Certified Welding Inspector by AWS or relevant institute

Certified (NACE/ SSPC/ BGAS-CSWIP)
