Logistics Services Officer

The operations Coordinator oversees all daily warehouse and fulfillment activities, including stock handling, order preparation, and inventory tracking. This role ensures smooth coordination across storage, inventory, and delivery processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Warehouse Operations: • Oversee receiving, shelving, and organizing inventory. • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and space optimization. • Supervise shelf labeling, zoning, and documentation. 2. Fulfillment & Dispatch: • Receive, verify, and process client orders. • Coordinate picking, packing, and final dispatch. • Verify shipment accuracy and documentation. 3. Inventory Control: • Track inventory levels across all zones (Dry, Frozen, Climate Controlled). • Conduct weekly/monthly physical stock counts. • Maintain FIFO/FEFO rotation methods and expiry checks. 4. Workflow Coordination: • Create and follow daily/weekly task plans. • Coordinate between warehouse team, drivers, and customer service. • Ensure all warehouse activities are completed within deadlines. 5. System & Reporting: • Input all activity logs into WMS (Warehouse Management System). • Generate reports on order status, inventory health, and turnaround times. • Flag inefficiencies or system mismatches. 6. Client Handling (Internally): • Ensure orders are executed according to each client’s SLA. • Handle special instructions or customization. • Notify clients of stock shortages or delays. 7. Operational Support: • Prepare tools and supplies needed for order processing. • Monitor condition of operational equipment and request maintenance. • Support compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
