Job Title: Piping Technician

Department: Construction / Piping

Reports To: Piping Engineer / Construction Engineer

Job Purpose

To install, assemble, test, and support the commissioning of piping systems for petroleum and aviation fuel loading skids in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and approved drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Install carbon steel and stainless steel piping, fittings, flanges, and valves as per approved drawings

• Read and interpret piping isometrics, layouts, GA drawings, and P&IDs

• Assist in pipe fit-up, alignment, leveling, and flange bolting activities

• Support hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing in accordance with procedures

• Perform flushing, cleaning, blowing, and drying of fuel and process lines

• Ensure proper pipe slope, tagging, line identification, and marking

• Coordinate with welding, QA/QC, and inspection teams during installation

• Maintain proper housekeeping at work sites

• Comply strictly with Saudi Aramco HSE rules, permit systems, and safety procedures

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of piping materials and installation practices

• Familiarity with bolting torque procedures and gasket installation

• Ability to work from drawings and follow technical instructions

• Good teamwork and site coordination skills

• Awareness of oil & gas safety standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Piping discipline

• Minimum 5–7 years of piping experience in oil & gas projects

• Saudi Aramco project experience preferred

• Experience in fuel systems or skid-mounted units is an advantage
