Safety Officer in Manama

We are expanding our operations and are seeking a qualified, proactive, and experienced Safety Officer to join our HSE team in Bahrain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with HSE policies, statutory regulations, and client-specific safety requirements while promoting a strong safety culture across all operational activities.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Safety Officer in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Heavy Industrial sector.

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.

• Additional certifications such as IOSH, OSHA, First Aid, Fire Warden, or Incident Investigation will be an added advantage.

• Sound knowledge and practical experience in:

• Permit to Work (PTW) System

• Risk Assessment & Job Safety Analysis (JSA)

• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

• Confined Space Entry

• Working at Height

• Lifting & Rigging Operations

• Hot Work Activities

• Incident Investigation & Reporting

• Emergency Response Procedures

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and maintain the highest standards of HSE compliance.

• GCC experience and immediate availability will be preferred.
