RTR / GRP / FRP QC Inspector in Jubail

Position: RTR / GRP / FRP QC Inspector

Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Industrial Projects

Approval: Non-Aramco (Client Approval as per project requirement)

Job Responsibilities:

Perform QC inspection for RTR / GRP / FRP piping installation activities.

Inspect incoming materials (pipes, fittings, flanges, adhesive, consumables) and verify certificates.

Check pipe storage, handling and preservation requirements.

Perform visual and dimensional inspection of piping systems.

Inspect:

Pipe alignment

Joint preparation

Adhesive bonded joints

Lamination joints

Flange assembly

Supports and installation

Verify installation according to drawings, specifications, ITP and method statements.

Witness hydrostatic pressure testing and prepare test reports.

Monitor repair works and ensure acceptance criteria compliance.

Prepare QC documents:

WIR/RFI

Inspection reports

Material inspection reports

Punch lists

NCR reports

Final handover documents

Required Experience:

Minimum 5+ years experience in RTR / GRP / FRP piping QC inspection.

Experience in oil & gas, water, chemical or industrial piping projects.

Knowledge of fiberglass piping installation and jointing procedures.

Familiar with:

ISO 14692

ASTM standards related to FRP/GRP piping

Project QC procedures

Technical Knowledge:

RTR / GRE / GRP / FRP piping systems

Taper/Taper bonded joints

Socket joints

Laminated joints

Flanged connections

Hydro testing

Visual inspection criteria

Defect identification:

Delamination

Blisters

Cracks

Voids

Poor bonding

Qualification:

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

FRP/RTR Inspector certification preferred

Knowledge of QA/QC documentation and inspection process
