We are seeking an experienced Architectural Site Engineer to join our project team in Riyadh and lead the execution of architectural works on hotel and hospitality projects from mobilization through final handover. The ideal candidate has strong site leadership, excellent coordination skills, and a high standard for finishes quality and brand compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Contract, Design & Technical Control

• Review subcontract documents, IFC drawings, specifications, and hospitality brand standards.

• Identify and report discrepancies between drawings, specs, BOQ, and brand requirements.

• Coordinate architectural shop drawings with Structural, MEP, Interior Design, FF&E, and façade packages (Revit preferred).

• Follow up with consultants/brand representatives to obtain approvals and close comments.

Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise architectural works including: blockwork/partitions, plaster & gypsum, ceilings, floor/wall finishes, joinery, doors & ironmongery, architectural metal works, and façade interfaces.

• Ensure execution per approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, and quality benchmarks.

• Coordinate with MEP first/second/final fix to avoid clashes and rework.

• Organize and manage mock-ups, samples, and benchmark rooms as quality references.

Planning, Progress & Coordination

• Coordinate with planning to align works with baseline program and look-ahead schedules.

• Break down activities into zones (floors, rooms, public areas, BOH).

• Monitor progress, identify constraints, and recommend recovery actions.

• Prepare progress updates and highlight risks with mitigation plans.

Materials, Procurement & Subcontractors

• Evaluate finishes/materials against specifications and hospitality standards.

• Prepare/review material submittals and samples for approvals.

• Coordinate with procurement for timely ordering and delivery.

• Inspect delivered materials and reject non-conforming items with QA/QC.

• Supervise subcontractors and ensure scope, quality, and program compliance.

QA/QC, Testing & Handover

• Implement method statements and ITPs; coordinate inspections and close IRs/NCRs.

• Manage snag lists and ensure timely closure.

• Support as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and handover documentation.

• Assist with TOC and final handover to client/operator.

HSE & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements and safe work practices.

• Resolve technical/coordination issues impacting quality, schedule, or cost.

• Maintain compliance with company procedures and consultant/client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering / Architecture

• 6–8 years minimum experience as an Architectural Site Engineer on major projects

• Hospitality / Hotel project experience is highly preferred

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods, detailing, and hospitality finishes

• Solid experience in joinery, ceilings, wet areas, doors & ironmongery

• Strong coordination ability with MEP, Structural, Interior Design, and FF&E packages

• High attention to detail and finish quality; ability to manage multiple work fronts

Software

• AutoCAD (mandatory)

• Autodesk Revit (preferred)

• MS Office (Photoshop is a plus)
