Job Title: Demand Planner

Location: Makkah, Saudi Arabia

Department: Supply Chain / Planning

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager / Planning Manager

Job Summary

The Demand Planner is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts to support production, inventory, and distribution planning. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Finance teams to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and shortages.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain demand forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annual) using historical data, sales trends, and market insights

Analyze sales data, seasonality, promotions, and market demand to improve forecast accuracy

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to incorporate promotional and new product launch plans into forecasts

Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process and attend planning meetings

Monitor forecast accuracy and KPIs; identify gaps and recommend corrective actions

Coordinate with Production and Warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of products

Manage inventory planning to avoid overstocking, slow-moving, or stock-out situations

Update demand plans in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar)

Prepare planning and demand analysis reports for management

Support continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain planning

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

2–5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or forecasting

Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or perfume/fragrance industry is preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Skills & Competencies

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, forecasting, data analysis)

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar)

Understanding of S&OP and inventory management principles

Strong communication and coordination skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Attention to detail and data accuracy

Preferred Skills

Power BI or reporting tools

Knowledge of Saudi market demand trends

Experience working with distributors and regional warehouses
