Material Receiving Inspector (Steel Structure) ARAMCO APPROVED CBT SAP in Riyadh

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Material Verification: Perform, verify, and document receiving inspections on structural steel, bolts, and coatings against Purchase Orders (POs) and shipping documents.

Documentation Review: Review Manufacturer’s Certificates of Conformance and Material Test Reports (MTRs) to ensure compliance with Aramco Material Specifications (SAMSS).

Quality Inspection: Inspect for material damage, corrosion, or fabrication defects; conduct dimensional checks and witness coating thickness measurements.

Non-Conformance Management: Issue and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for rejected materials.

Storage & Preservation: Monitor the storage condition of materials on-site to prevent deterioration.

Aramco Standards: Ensure all inspections comply with Aramco QC procedures, including passing necessary Computer-Based Training (CBT) exams.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Approval: Valid or previous Saudi Aramco approval as a Structural/Material Inspector (SAP ID required).

Experience: Minimum 5 years in QC inspection within oil & gas or heavy industrial projects.

Technical Skills: Proficient in reading engineering drawings and structural blueprints. Strong knowledge of ASTM standards for steel and structural coatings.

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil preferred).

Communication: Good proficiency in written and spoken English.
