Job Title: Safety Officer

Job Purpose: To develop any necessary policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of all

employees, contractors and visitors to the company and to provide the main source of expert advice on

health and safety.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

 Develop policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of all employees, visitors to the

company and employees working at client site.

 He should be adept at developing safety plans, overseeing implementation & conducting field

safety survey, site safety surveillance and auditing for compliance.

 Prepare MIS reports to monitor compliance as required.

 Skilled in relationship management and communication with excellent analytical and leadership

ability.

 Provide the main source of advice and guidance to the company and its managers, supervisors on

health, safety and environment matters.

 Monitor the company’s operations in factory and at client site, processes and procedures to ensure

that they comply with health and safety regulations.

 Investigate and report on accidents and related incidents, recommending any changes that may be

necessary, to ensure that the company complies with health and safety regulations.

 Carry out a risk analysis for the company and recommend any changes that may be necessary.

 Maintain good working relationships with insurers and other relevant authorities to ensure that the

company’s interests are safeguarded and a safe and healthy working environment is maintained in

the factory and at client’s site.

 Provide any necessary training to managers, supervisors and staff to ensure that they comply with

all health and safety requirements.

 Review working practices and safety equipment to ensure that the company meets the requirements

of insurers and other relevant bodies at client site.

 Maintain an awareness of developments in the field of health and safety to ensure that the company

continues to comply with best practice and legal requirements.

 Establish and maintain internal consultative processes on health and safety, particularly a safety

committee.

Qualifications:

 Degree Graduate with Diploma in Industrial Safety/NEBOSH/OSHA certification.

 Experience: – 3 to 5 years’ experience required. Work experience of 1-2 years in Saudi Arabia or

GCC countries will be preferred.

 Age Limit – 25 yrs. to 35 yrs.

 Good communication and presentation skills.
