Geotechnical Engineer Required No Iqama Transfer in Riyadh

We are seeking a qualified experienced Geotechnical Engineer.

Job Summary:

The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for providing expert recommendations and technical guidance on excavation support systems for underpasses & trenches.

This includes evaluating soil and rock conditions, designing, and advising on shoring systems, shotcrete applications, rock dowels, and other ground stabilization techniques.

The role involves close coordination with structural and construction teams to ensure safe and cost-effective excavation practices. Conduct geotechnical investigations, interpret soil, and rock data for underpass excavation projects.

Responsibilities:

Recommend appropriate excavation support systems including:

Shoring and bracing

Shotcrete lining

Rock dowels and anchors

Soil nails and retaining structures

Prepare and issue formal geotechnical reports and recommendations.

Review and approve geotechnical design drawings and specifications.

Monitor site conditions and provide on-site technical support during excavation.

Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and project managers.

Ensure compliance with local geotechnical standards and safety regulations.

Evaluate risks related to ground movement, water ingress, and slope stability.
