Quantity Surveyor – Marble / Stone Works in Jeddah

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor specialized in marble and natural stone works to manage quantity take-offs, cost estimation, valuations, and cost control activities in accordance with project specifications and approved drawings. The role requires close coordination with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate measurement and financial control of stone works.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs for marble and stone works including flooring, wall cladding, staircases, countertops, skirting, and bespoke stone elements.

Measure quantities considering stone thicknesses, finishes, edge profiles, cutting layouts, and wastage allowances.

Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and specifications related to stone works.

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and material take-offs for marble and stone works.

Assist in preparation of interim payment applications, progress valuations, and final accounts.

Evaluate and price variations, change orders, and claims related to stone works.

Support value engineering proposals without compromising quality or design intent.

Coordinate with procurement and site teams to monitor material usage and cost control.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

Proven experience in marble / stone works quantity surveying.

Strong proficiency in MS Excel and measurement tools.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and stone shop drawings.

Good knowledge of measurement standards and BOQ preparation.

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years experience in marble and natural stone works.

Experience in high-end finishes, hospitality, or landmark projects is preferred.
