Job Overview

We are a growing logistics and freight forwarding company operating in air, ocean, and land transportation. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Freight / Operations Executive to manage day-to-day shipment operations, coordinate with partners, and ensure smooth cargo movement from origin to final delivery.

This role requires strong coordination skills, operational knowledge, and experience working with carriers, agents, and customers in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

Receive bookings from customers to arrange shipments from origin to final delivery point

Handle overseas shipment arrangements including documentation, customs clearance approvals, and scheduling

Coordinate with overseas partners and agents to ensure correct booking and shipment execution

Maintain regular communication with customers regarding shipment status and updates

Complete required documentation for shipment release and delivery to avoid delays

Liaise with:

Shipping lines

Airlines

Inland transporters

Service providers

for booking releases, payments, and confirmations

Resolve service issues, delays, and operational challenges with partners and operators

Update and maintain accurate shipping line contact information and customer schedules

Work closely with internal team members to ensure best operational practices

Manage customer service requirements within the department

Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations

Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery

Provide regular status updates to Management

Ensure loading and unloading equipment is prepared for shifts

Assist freight crew in loading, unloading, and storing merchandise

Manage mismatched shipments and seal discrepancies efficiently

Supervise ocean freight operations including staff coordination

Support daily import & export procedures

Review and improve ocean process workflows when required

Track shipments and coordinate with all stakeholders

Handle full documentation

Manage vendor and client communication professionally
