To provide front-line technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and system issues, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support
Respond to incoming support requests (phone, email, ticketing system).
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications.
2. User Assistance
Support end-users with system access, password resets, and account creation.
Guide staff on basic IT procedures and best practices.
Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level IT personnel when required.
3. System & Network Support
Monitor the performance of network systems and report abnormalities.
Assist in configuring routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
Support routine system backups and antivirus updates.
4. Ticketing & Documentation
Log all service requests and solutions in the help desk system.
Maintain accurate documentation for systems, procedures, and known issues.
Generate periodic reports on support activities and recurring problems.
5. Asset Management
Maintain inventory of IT equipment, accessories, and software licenses.
Support the setup of new devices for employees (imaging, configuration, deployment).
Ensure proper handling and tracking of equipment returns and replacements.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
5–10 years of experience in IT support or help desk operations.
CCNA or CCNP is Preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office 365, and basic networking.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) is a plus.
