Job Summary

The QC job role will support the quality control process across agricultural production, handling, and storage activities. This beginner-friendly role involves inspecting crops, monitoring product quality, maintaining records, and assisting senior QC staff to ensure products meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect agricultural produce (e.g., fruits, vegetables, grains) for size, color, maturity, and defects.

Collect and label samples for laboratory testing.

Assist in monitoring cleanliness and environmental conditions of storage and packing areas.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality checks.

Record inspection results accurately and report issues to the QC Supervisor.

Support in checking packaging, labeling, and product handling processes.

Assist in implementing food safety guidelines (e.g., hygiene, cross-contamination prevention).

Help identify non-conforming products and segregate them properly.

Maintain tools and equipment used for quality inspection.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (agriculture diploma is an advantage but not required).

Basic knowledge of farming, crops, or agricultural processes (training provided).

Ability to follow instructions and work in outdoor or warehouse environments.

Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
