Planning Engineer in Riyadh

Our Company name is Top International Engineering Corporation Arabia Limited, We are We are a Chinese engineering company, Now ,We are currently constructing a large-scale integrated project in Riyadh. So，We need Recruiting Planning Engineer, The specific requirements are as follows:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial and Civil Construction, or related fields.

Minimum of 8 years of relevant project work experience.

Proficient in Arabic, preferably a native speaker of Arabic.

Responsible for developing overall project construction schedules, milestone plans, and decomposing them into monthly, weekly, bi-weekly rolling plans, as well as specialized construction schedules.

Utilize Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to decompose construction projects (e.g., foundation, main structure, decoration, mechanical & electrical installation, outdoor works, etc.) into quantifiable and manageable work activities.

Proficient in using software such as Primavera P6 / MS Project to establish schedule models, identify critical paths, and perform preliminary loading of resources (labor, materials, machinery) and costs.

Monitor progress throughout the entire process:

Conduct on-site tracking and collect actual progress data for each phase (e.g., earthwork, piling, main structure, secondary structure, plastering, decoration, installation, etc.), comparing it with planned schedules.

Regularly (weekly/monthly) update project schedules, calculate schedule deviations, analyze causes of delays, and prepare detailed “Project Progress Analysis Reports” with visual aids such as Gantt charts and S-curves.

Monitor activities on the critical path, provide early warnings for potential delays, and support project management decision-making.

Maintain close communication with design, procurement, cost, and safety departments to ensure synchronized progress information and collaboratively address issues affecting schedules, such as drawings, owner-supplied materials, changes, and funding.

Quantitatively assess the impact of engineering changes, design modifications, and site variations on project timelines, providing schedule-related technical support for claims or schedule compression.

Promptly adjust and update the master project schedule based on approved changes.
