Job Title: HR Officer
Industry: Restaurant / Food & Beverage /Hospitality
Location: Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Reports to: General Manager
Job Summary
The HR Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day human resources operations for restaurant staff, ensuring compliance with Saudi labor laws, supporting recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, and Saudization (Nitaqat) requirements. The role focuses on maintaining a productive, compliant, and well-staffed restaurant workforce.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate recruitment of restaurant staff (chefs, cooks, waiters, baristas, cleaners, supervisors, etc.)
Screen CVs, schedule interviews, and prepare job offers
Handle onboarding, orientation, and induction of new employees
Maintain employee files (contracts, Iqama, passport, certificates)
2. Compliance & Labor Law (KSA)
Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, Ministry of Human Resources (MHRSD), and GOSI regulations
Manage Saudization (Nitaqat) targets and reporting
Handle contracts, renewals, probation confirmations, and terminations
Coordinate Iqama issuance, renewal, transfer, and exit/re-entry processes
3. Payroll & Attendance
Coordinate monthly payroll with finance
Monitor attendance, overtime, leaves, absences, and shift schedules
Ensure wage protection system (WPS) compliance
Handle end-of-service benefits calculations
4. Employee Relations
Act as point of contact for employee concerns and grievances
Support disciplinary actions in line with company policy and labor law
Assist in performance evaluations and staff feedback
Promote a positive work culture within restaurant operations
5. Training & Development
Coordinate basic training (food safety, hygiene, customer service)
Track mandatory certifications and renewals
Support skill development for restaurant staff
6. HR Administration & Reporting
Maintain HR records, reports, and documentation
Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, Saudization status)
Support audits and government inspections
Assist General Manager in policy implementation
Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in restaurant / hospitality / F&B industry
Experience working in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred
Skills
Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law
MS Office & HR Software Systems
Familiar with Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, GOSI, and MHRSD portals
Good communication skills (Arabic & English preferred)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to handle high-volume staff operations.
Package :
5000 to 7000 riyals (includes all) as per experience & qualification.
