Job Description for Maximo Technical Resource

• Experienced in Maximo Asset Management Software – Functional and Technical 6+ years.

• Design, develop, and support application solutions using the Maximo 7.6.x / MAS.

• Experience with MAS 8/9 migration.

• Hands on experience in Docker, Kubernetes.

• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of OpenShift/Container Platform.

• Perform patching, software implementations, and upgrades to RedHat OpenShift platforms

• Strong DevOps/CI/CD process architecture/engineering

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

• Expertise in Maximo configurations such as Database Configuration, Escalations, Cron Tasks, Domains, Conditional Expression Manager etc.

• Expertise in Java Customizations and Automation Scripts.

• Expertise in integrating Maximo with external applications.

• Collaborate with middleware teams and provide solutions.

• Work with Infrastructure team in fixing infrastructure issues.

• Good technical knowledge in WebSphere.

• Knowledge on Design and Develop BIRT reports.

• Write SQL scripts to provide data extracts to business on demand.

• Knowledge of Database SQL systems (DB2 or SQL or Oracle)

Job Description for Maximo Database Administrator

• Database Management: Administer, monitor, and optimize Maximo databases (Oracle, SQL, Postgres), ensuring high availability and performance for asset management.

• Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimize SQL queries, and tune configurations for efficiency.

• Data Management: Lead data migration, handle imports/exports, manage archiving, and maintain data quality.

• Security & Compliance: Configure security settings, manage access, and ensure compliance with standards.

• Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues, diagnose integration problems (e.g., ServiceNow), and manage daily production issues.

• Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and execute system upgrades, apply patches, and manage environment changes (e.g., Dev, Test, Prod).

• Disaster Recovery (DR): Implement and test backup/restore procedures and DR plans.

• Collaboration: Work with business analysts and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in database administration (Oracle, SQL Server).

• Deep knowledge of IBM Maximo EAM system (versions like MAS 9).

• Proficiency with SQL, scripting, and database tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Performance Hub).

• Experience with virtualization (VMs) and containerization (OpenShift) is a plus.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of system architecture (WebSphere).
