Escalator / Elevator Engineer in Riyadh

We are hiring in Riyadh Job Title: Escalator / Elevator Engineer

Project: Arena Block – Diriyah

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design coordination and technical review of all escalator and elevator systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local regulations.

Review and validate shop drawings, calculations, and technical submittals submitted by contractors and vendors, ensuring accuracy, safety, and alignment with project requirements.

Oversee procurement and assembly processes, ensuring materials, components, and installation methods meet quality and project standards.

Supervise and monitor installation works on-site, ensuring proper execution, adherence to approved drawings, and compliance with safety protocols.

Manage and coordinate testing and commissioning activities, including functional testing, performance validation, and system integration.

Ensure all escalator and elevator systems are delivered with complete documentation, including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and test certificates.

Act as the primary point of contact for all contractors and subcontractors, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and issue resolution.

Monitor project progress, schedules, and milestones, ensuring timely completion of works and alignment with overall project timelines.

Identify potential risks or delays and implement proactive mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.

Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and safety requirements.

Support project management in cost control, variation evaluation, and technical decision-making related to vertical transportation systems.

Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all activities.
