We Are Hiring: Logistics And Procurement Officer (Local Transfer–Iqama Transfer Required) in Jeddah

We are looking for a Logistics and Procurement Officer to join our team through local Iqama transfer. This role focuses primarily on international logistics operations, including air freight, express shipments, and customs coordination. Procurement responsibilities include both local and international sourcing.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in logistics planning, air and express shipment handling, SABER compliance, customs clearance, and international procurement for industrial and manufacturing operations.

Core Logistics Responsibilities

• Manage inbound shipments, including air freight, express courier, and standard sea freight.

• Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, express couriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

• Handle all documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and airway bills.

• Ensure SABER and FASAH compliance including shipment certification, product registration, and HS code verification.

• Track and monitor shipments in real time, resolve clearance delays, and update internal teams on expected arrival times.

• Manage warehouse receiving, internal transfers, and branch to branch material movement.

• Optimize shipping routes and consolidations to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.

• Liaise with suppliers and authorities for any logistics requirements.

International and Local Procurement Responsibilities

• Handle international procurement for materials, spare parts, and components from global suppliers.

• Request and evaluate supplier quotations, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to specifications.

• Follow up on production readiness, shipping schedules, and documentation from overseas suppliers.

• Coordinate with logistics partners for consolidation, air freight, express courier, or sea freight as required.

• Support local procurement needs and ensure timely supply to production and service teams.

• Conduct accounts payable reconciliation related to supplier invoices, freight charges, and customs fees.

• Maintain accurate records of POs, GRNs, supplier catalogs, and landed cost tracking.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of SABER, HS codes, Saudi customs clearance, and international shipping documentation.

• Skilled in managing air freight, express courier logistics, and time sensitive shipments.

• Experience in industrial or mechanical procurement and logistics preferred.

• Ability to combine logistics planning with structured international procurement processes.

• Familiarity with ERP systems.

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics within Saudi Arabia.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Good command of English; Arabic preferred.

• Valid Saudi driving license preferred.

• Must be able to relocate or commute reliably.

• Local transfer only.
