Job Description:
The Furniture Carpenter is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, installing, and repairing wooden furniture according to specifications and drawings. The role requires skilled use of carpentry tools and machinery, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood-based materials
Manufacture furniture such as wardrobes, cabinets, beds, doors, and custom items
Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
Operate carpentry tools and machines safely
Sand, finish, polish, and install furniture
Repair and maintain existing wooden furniture
Ensure quality standards and timely completion of work
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
Minimum 4–5 years experience as a furniture carpenter
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery
Physically fit and detail-oriented
Willing to work overtime if required
