Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting, with a particular emphasis on overhead cranes and concrete production machines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical systems, including overhead cranes, concrete production machines, and other industrial equipment.

2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

3. Installation and Upgrades: Install new electrical systems and equipment, and upgrade existing systems as needed.

4. Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations to protect personnel and equipment.

5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inspections.

6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members and production staff to ensure seamless operations and address any electrical issues promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

– Experience: Minimum 5 years of industrial experience as an electrician, with a focus on overhead cranes and concrete production machines.

– Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high-voltage systems, control circuits, and electrical safety.

– Troubleshooting Skills: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.

– Certifications: Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are preferred.

– Physical Fitness: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including climbing, lifting, and working at heights.

– Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document work and collaborate with team members effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Overhead Cranes: Experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead cranes and hoisting equipment.

– Concrete Production Machines: Knowledge of electrical systems and controls used in concrete production, including mixers, conveyors, and batching systems.

– PLC Programming: Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and experience with programming and troubleshooting.

– Preventive Maintenance: Experience with implementing and managing preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems.
