Position: KAUST Academy Performance & Planning Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic professional to join our team as KAUST Academy Performance & Planning Lead. This is a key role responsible for driving strategic planning, financial forecasting, performance reporting, and operational excellence within the academy.

Position Summary

The Performance & Planning Lead will manage budgeting, revenue forecasting, strategic initiative tracking, risk and audit compliance, and project management for new initiatives. The role requires strong analytical, financial, and organizational skills to support leadership decision-making and ensure smooth academy operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and produce performance, financial, and cost-benefit reports

Lead annual budget planning and financial forecasting

Develop multi-year revenue projections

Track strategic initiatives and prepare board-level reports

Manage risk and audit observations to ensure compliance

Oversee master event calendar and key HR/finance cycles

Provide project management support for high-priority initiatives

Develop and maintain academy policies and procedures

Required Competencies

Financial acumen and budgeting expertise

Strategic planning and analytical skills

Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities

Strong project management experience

Risk management and compliance knowledge

Excellent stakeholder management and communication

Organizational planning and governance experience

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related field

Experience: Minimum 5 years in FP&A, strategic planning, or business operations

Preferred:

MBA or relevant Master’s degree

PMP or similar certification
