2. Proposals & Estimation Engineer

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.

 3–7 years of experience in engineering consultancy or construction.

 Experience in public and private tenders.

 Strong proficiency in Excel, quantity take-off, and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities

 Monitor public and private tender opportunities.

 Review tender documents, specifications, and requirements.

 Prepare and submit prequalification documents.

 Develop technical and financial proposals.

 Submit bids and follow up on award processes.

 Respond to client inquiries and clarifications.

 Prepare BOQs and quantity take-offs.

 Develop project cost estimates.

 Conduct pricing analysis.

 Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

 Prepare final commercial proposals.

Required Skills

 Tendering and bid management.

 Technical and financial proposal preparation.

 Cost estimation and quantity take-off.

 BOQ preparation and analysis. AND Pricing and cost analysis.

 Prequalification document preparation.

 Contract and tender document review.

 Supplier and subcontractor coordination.

 Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost estimation spreadsheets.

 Knowledge of engineering consultancy and construction projects.

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Strong communication and coordination skills.

 Ability to work under pressure and meet submission deadlines.

 Time management and multitasking skills.

 Knowledge of government procurement platforms and tender procedures.

 Familiarity with AutoCAD and quantity take-off software is preferred.

 Excellent report writing and documentation skills in English and Arabic.
