???? Urgent Hiring: Senior Structural Fabrication Engineer – Saudi Arabia

We are urgently looking for an experienced Senior Structural Fabrication Engineer to join a major Oil & Gas structural fabrication assignment in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

This is a 1‑year contract role, and we prefer candidates who can join immediately or within 2 weeks.

???? Position Details

Location: Leading structural steel fabrication yard, Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Contract Duration: 1 year

Working Hours: 48 hours per week (Sunday–Thursday)

???? Key Responsibilities

Supervise fabrication of structural steel works in line with approved shop drawings, specifications, and international codes (IS, Eurocode, AISC, etc.).

Coordinate with engineering teams, fabricators, QC, inspectors, and construction teams to ensure accurate interpretation of technical requirements.

Review shop drawings, fabrication details, MTOs, and cutting plans for steel structures.

Ensure compliance with method statements, WPS/PQR, ITPs, and all quality control procedures.

Monitor fabrication progress, identify delays or constraints, and report corrective actions to project management.

Conduct inspections covering material handling, cutting, welding, bolting, surface preparation, and painting.

Verify material certificates, MTCs, and maintain full material traceability.

Identify non‑conformities, issue NCRs, and ensure timely closure with corrective/preventive actions.

Support construction engineering activities including lifting plans, transportation, load‑out, and yard operations.

Coordinate with design engineers to resolve fabrication‑related RFIs, technical queries, and constructability issues.

Ensure strict adherence to HSE procedures and safe lifting/handling practices.

Maintain documentation for inspections, approvals, quality records, and progress reports.

Participate in constructability reviews and recommend improvements to enhance fabrication efficiency and quality.

Support erection teams by providing fabrication clarifications and resolving interface issues.

???? Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (mandatory).

15+ years of experience in structural engineering and detailing.

Strong background in steel structures within the Oil & Gas sector (mandatory).

???? Technical Skills

Strong understanding of steel and/or concrete structural design principles.

Proficiency in Tekla.

Knowledge of design codes: AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes, BS.

Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.

Ability to interpret structural analyses and design calculations.
