We are implementing/optimizing Odoo as our central ERP platform to drive efficiency and insight across all business units. We are looking for a passionate Odoo HR Expert to join our team and transform our human resources lifecycle into a seamless digital experience.

The Opportunity

As our Odoo HR Module Expert, you will be the key architect of our HR digital ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between our HR team’s needs and the technical capabilities of Odoo. This is not just a support role; it’s a strategic position where you will analyze business processes, design optimal solutions, and configure the Odoo HR apps (Employee, Recruitment, Time Off, Appraisals, Payroll, etc.) to automate workflows, improve data accuracy, and enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration: Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of all Odoo HR modules (Employees, Recruitment, Leaves, Appraisals, Expenses, Fleet, etc.).

Business Process Analysis: Work closely with HR, Payroll, and department heads to understand current processes, identify pain points, and design efficient, Odoo-based solutions.

Workflow Automation: Design and automate approval flows (leaves, expenses, contracts), onboarding/offboarding checklists, and recruitment pipelines.

Reporting & Dashboards: Develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR management using Odoo’s reporting tools or BI connectors.

Integration Management: Ensure smooth data flow between Odoo HR and other systems (e.g., external payroll software, attendance devices, email, calendar).

User Training & Support: Train HR administrators and employees on using the system. Create documentation and provide ongoing functional support.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of new Odoo HR features, updates, and best practices to recommend continuous improvements.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on functional experience with Odoo HR modules (Community or Enterprise version).

Deep Functional Knowledge: Expertise in configuring and managing:

Employee Master Data & Organizational Structure

Recruitment (Jobs, Applications, Surveys, Stages)

Time Off (Leaves) Allocation and Approval

Employee Appraisals (Goals, Reviews)

Expenses, Fleet, and other related apps.

(Bonus) Payroll integration concepts.

Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of Odoo’s architecture. Ability to write functional specs for developers, perform basic debugging, and use developer mode for advanced configurations.

Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical skills to translate business requirements into effective Odoo solutions.

Communication: Fluent in English (and [Local Language]). Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Certification: Odoo Functional Certification (HR) is a significant plus.

Nice to Have

Experience with Odoo version 18.0

Knowledge of Python and Odoo’s ORM for minor customizations.

Experience in project management or business analysis.

Background in an HR operations role.
