Quantity Surveyor – Underground Infrastructure & Tunneling Projects in Riyadh

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in underground infrastructure projects to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, and financial control of large-scale tunneling works.

*Key Responsibilities*

Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts

Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction lifecycle

Measure and value tunnel works, including variations and claims

Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts

Administer contracts (FIDIC or similar forms preferred)

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams

Evaluate subcontractor quotations and manage subcontractor accounts

Assess risks, cost impacts, and mitigation measures specific to tunnel works

Prepare detailed cost reports for management and clients

*Requirements*

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

7–10 years of relevant experience, with proven experience in tunnel projects (road, rail, metro, or utility tunnels)

Strong knowledge of underground construction methods (NATM, cut-and-cover, etc.)

Experience with cost control, claims, and variation management

Proficiency in quantity surveying and cost management software

Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment
