Technical Sales Engineer in Dammam

Position Overview

We are inviting applications for the role of Technical Sales Engineer at a reputed organization serving as an agent for leading suppliers of plastic processing machinery within Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based preferably in Dammam or Riyadh.

Job Responsibilities

• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the Saudi Arabian market to expand our customer base.

• Establishing and nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective customers to foster long-term partnerships.

• Providing technical support as well as conducting product training sessions for customers to ensure optimal product usage and satisfaction.

• Coordinating with suppliers to guarantee prompt delivery of machinery and necessary spare parts.

• Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to consistently achieve set sales targets.

• Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends and monitoring competitor activity to inform business strategies.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Industrial, or a related discipline.

• An MBA or equivalent qualification will be considered an added advantage.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, with preference for those with exposure to the plastic processing industry in Saudi Arabia or Gulf countries.

• In-depth knowledge of plastic processing machinery and relevant technologies.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.

• Demonstrated sales achievements and a proven ability to achieve or exceed targets.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
