General Accountant Required in Riyadh

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team in a newly established Precast factory. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing day-to-day accounting activities, implementing accounting processes in Odoo ERP, and ensuring compliance with IFRS. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll and inventory accounting.

• Prepare journal entries, maintain intercompany balances and assist with monthly and yearly financial closings.

• Implement and maintain financial workflows and modules within Odoo ERP, ensuring accurate data integration across manufacturing, sales, and inventory.

• Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to align cost accounting and inventory controls.

• Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of precast production costs, material usage, and work-in-progress (WIP).

• Ensure accurate VAT calculations, prepare and file VAT returns, and stay up-to-date with local VAT regulations.

• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance checks.

• Support in setting up internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus but not requiref).

• 3+ years of experience in accounting; experience in manufacturing or construction industry is a strong advantage.

• Proven hands-on experience with Odoo ERP – especially accounting, inventory, and manufacturing modules.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting tools. Odoo experience will be an advantage

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in setting up accounting systems for a startup or newly established company.

• Knowledge of costing methods specific to precast or construction industries.

• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance in the region.

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: SR 3500 to 4000 (Housing & Transportation will be provided)
