Restaurant Cleaner / Dishwasher (SAR 1,500++) in Riyadh

Position: Restaurant Steward

Starting Salary: SAR 1,500 plus FREE shared room, transportation to and from work, with 1 duty meal

Location: Laysen Vally, Umm Al Hamam, Riyadh

JOB ROLE:

We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Restaurant Steward to join our culinary team

in Riyadh. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring that all kitchen equipment,

dinnerware, and food preparation areas are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene

and organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dishwashing during peak

hours and executing a deep clean of the kitchen facilities following the nightly close of

operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Dishwashing & Stewarding

1. Operate industrial dishwashers efficiently, ensuring all plates, cutlery, and glassware

are sanitized.

2. Hand-wash large pots, pans, and specialized kitchen equipment.

3. Sort and stack clean dishes in designated storage areas.

After-Operation Kitchen Cleaning

1. Deep clean kitchen surfaces, including stainless steel prep tables, walls, and shelving.

2. Sanitize heavy-duty equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and hoods following safety

protocols.

3. Sweep and mop kitchen floors using degreasing agents to ensure a slip-free

environment.

4. Empty all trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with Riyadh municipality

regulations.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

1. Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant environment preferred.

2. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP or Balady health

requirements).

3. Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen crates (up to 20kg).

4. Flexibility to work late-night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

5. Must possess a valid Saudi Health Certificate (Kert Seha).

6. Basic communication skills in English or Arabic.
