Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Laser Cutting Operator & Designer to join our creative production team of our Print & Advertising Co. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UV Hybrid, laser cutting machines, CAD design, and material handling. You will be responsible for creating precise cutting files, setting up and operating laser equipment, and ensuring high-quality finished products that meet design and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain laser cutting machines (CO₂ or fiber lasers).

Create and modify cutting files using design software (AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Illustrator, etc.).

Prepare and position materials (acrylic, MDF, metal, PVC, etc.) for cutting.

Ensure accuracy, clean edges, and efficient material usage.

Troubleshoot machine or design-related issues.

Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laser machines.

Collaborate with the design and production teams to deliver customized signage and fabrication work.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Civil, or Design Engineering (or related field).

2–3 years of experience in laser cutting operations and file preparation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Illustrator, or similar software.

Understanding of vector file formats (DXF, AI, CDR, SVG, etc.).

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of materials used in signage, display, or fabrication industries is an advantage.

Preferred Experience:

Background in signage production in Print & Advertising Co.

Basic knowledge of CNC or engraving machines.

Experience handling design-to-production workflows.
