HIRING | Storage Administrator — L3 in Riyadh

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Storage Administrator — L3 role based in Jubail. The Storage Administrator — L3 is responsible for owning the enterprise storage infrastructure, backup operations, and disaster recovery strategy across all production and DR environments. Daily work includes administering HPE Nimble storage systems, managing Veeam Backup & Replication jobs and repositories, and operating Tenable vulnerability management across the infrastructure. The role involves designing and executing DR runbooks, performing regular restore drills and backup integrity validation, and coordinating vulnerability remediation across system and network teams. The Storage Administrator — L3 will maintain storage architecture documentation, support compliance and audit requirements, and collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure data availability, integrity, and recoverability at all times.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in HPE Nimble Storage — volume provisioning, snapshots, replication, and HPE InfoSight performance monitoring

Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication (v11/v12) — job configuration, SOBR, Instant Recovery, bare-metal restore, cloud-tier offload, and Veeam ONE monitoring

Proven experience designing and executing disaster recovery strategies — RPO/RTO definition, failover/failback procedures, and quarterly DR drill execution

Solid experience operating Tenable.sc or Tenable.io — scan configuration, vulnerability triage, CVSS prioritization, and remediation tracking

Proficiency with SAN/NAS technologies — iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS/SMB, multipathing (MPIO), and storage zoning

Familiarity with NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage, or Dell EMC Unity/PowerStore

Experience with VMware vSphere storage integration and cloud backup solutions including Azure Backup and immutable repositories

Certifications such as VMCE, HPE Storage, TCSP, or VMware VCP-DCV are preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

5–10 years of hands-on enterprise storage and backup administration experience
