Generator Technician (Having Experience With MTU Medium Voltage Brand) in Riyadh

Perform safe, professional, high-quality, and timely inspection, diagnosis, and repair of all types of diesel generators expecially experience with MTU medium voltage generator.

Diagnosis of diesel generators problems using manuals, schematics, and various test equipment (including PC diagnosis).

Perform complex maintenance & repairs for engine and alternator of diesel generator.

Diagnose and repair any issues found during initial testing.

Perform voltage changes on generators based on customer requirements.

Re-wire, adjust and install control panels and voltage regulators.

Adjust speed controls and various settings.

Change oil/filters and perform preventive maintenance on units.

Travel to sites to perform all required repairs.

Perform harness assembly of the generator.

Assist with other duties as required.

Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

Assist in unloading, positioning, and installation of diesel generators on concrete foundations.

Perform accurate generator alignment and leveling.

Install vibration isolators and base frames.

Ensure correct mechanical fixing and torque tightening of bolts.

Install radiator units, cooling fans, and piping systems.

Connect flexible hoses between generator engine and radiator.

Install coolant expansion tanks and valves.

Perform coolant filling and leak testing.

Ensure proper airflow direction and clearances for cooling performance.

Qualification

Excellent troubleshooting and repair skills.

Having (5-10) years of experience.

Electric diagrams, excitation system analysis, AVR mechanism.

Ability to measure alternator insulation/megger test.

Using computerized software and diagnosis tools.

Engine mechanical and electrical system control.

Able to work as a team player and leader with a good attitude.

Able to learn new things and teach others.

Hand & power tool skills.
