Veterinary Assistant

– This is a full-time, on-site Veterinary Assistant role located in Jeddah.

– The Veterinary Assistant will be responsible for assisting in surgeries, monitoring animal patients’ recovery, taking patient history/medical records, preparing and counseling on medications, coordinating with the veterinarian on the diagnosis and treatment plans, as well as performing diagnostic testing (such as X-rays or ultrasounds), and communicating with clients on behavioral problems and preventive care.

• A degree or diploma in veterinary technology or animal science is preferred
• Experience working in an animal hospital or clinic, particularly in a veterinary assistant or technician role
• Experience handling and restraining different animal species
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and team members
• Knowledge of medical terminology and veterinary procedures
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Flexibility in working hours (may include evening or weekend shifts)
