Job Summary
The Security Systems Projects Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and supporting the execution of security systems projects from initiation to handover. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
Coordinate daily project activities for security systems projects (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, ANPR, PSIM, etc.).
Act as a liaison between clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
Assist the Project Manager in planning, execution, and close-out of projects.
Technical & Documentation Support
Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and method statements.
Coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and approvals with consultants.
Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and correspondence.
Ensure installations comply with approved drawings and relevant standards (NFPA, SAMA, ISO, local authority regulations).
Site & Execution Support
Coordinate site activities and ensure readiness of manpower, materials, and tools.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of installation.
Identify potential risks, delays, or technical issues and report them to management.
Support testing, commissioning, and system integration activities.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with procurement for material delivery in line with project schedules.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance and timelines.
Track material usage and assist in inventory control.
Handover & Close-Out
Coordinate system testing, commissioning, and client demonstrations.
Assist in preparation of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documents.
Support final inspections and project close-out activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
3–7 years of experience in security systems projects or ELV systems coordination.
Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, IDS, and integrated security systems.
Experience working with consultants, contractors, and end clients.
Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination and organizational skills.
Good understanding of project management fundamentals.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is a plus.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Requirements (Optional)
KSA project experience and familiarity with local regulations.
Valid driving license.
Certifications in security systems or project management (PMP is a plus).
