Job Description:

Complex electrical engineering analysis, design, modelling / CAD drawings, specifications and bills of quantities using appropriate analysis and design and modelling / drafting software, to the required quality, project timeline, and design man-hour budget,

Obtain all data and follow up with project managers, Lead Electrical Engineer, other company staff, other consultants and contractors so that analysis, design and production of drawings, specifications and bills of quantities are completed in an accurate, timely manner, to the required quality,

Establish and build professional relationships with other staff, other Consultants, contractors.

Understand the project brief, and deliverables

Assist Lead Electrical Engineer, other Engineering Designers with the preparation and implementation of the Project electrical engineering designs in coordination with the assigned project team,

Participate in and contribute to value engineering exercises,

Coordinate with internal disciplines and teams within ECEC and with 3rd parties in relation to technical, financial, safety, quality, schedule and other elements of a project, so that accurate electrical designs and electrical engineering drawings, specifications and bills of quantities are produced.

Specifically, the Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for:

Implementing and updating specific and overall project electrical engineering designs, drawings, specifications and bills of quantities for multiple complex design projects and construction projects.

Assists the Lead Electrical Engineer on matters that cross between interfacing elements, projects.

Work proactively, constructively, and fairly with all parties to ensure the successful execution of duties,

Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as directed, and as may be appropriate.
