Job Title: Engineering Coordinator – Construction

Location: Al Khobar, Project Sites across KSA

Reporting To: Project Manager / Operations Head

Purpose of Role

The Engineering Coordinator will manage the engineering function for security building complex and other infrastructure projects across KSA. The role ensures engineering deliverables meet project requirements, ARAMCO standards, company standards, local regulations, and best practices, delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all engineering phases: shop drawings (isometric drawings), material submittals, method statements, change requests, as-built drawings (red-line), handover.

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure technical alignment and constructability.

• Review and approve engineering documents, ensuring compliance with ARAMCO standards, KSA building codes and international standards.

• Conduct constructability reviews, risk assessments, value-engineering, and proactively resolve engineering issues impacting schedule, cost, or quality.

• Monitor engineering schedules, budgets, and resource utilization to ensure timely delivery of milestones.

• Liaise with procurement, construction, HSE, and client teams to align engineering solutions with overall project plans.

• Prepare and submit engineering reports, progress updates, and technical presentations to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical/Architectural Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of engineering/construction experience.

• Proven experience in large-scale construction projects in KSA or GCC.

• Proficiency with engineering tools/software: AutoCAD (2D & 3D), Revit, BIM coordination, Primavera P6/MS Project.

Working Conditions

• Site visits required; mix of office and field work.

• Travel to project sites across KSA.

• Interaction with local authorities, clients, and cross-functional teams.
