Job Vacancy – Quantity Surveyor

Our contracting company, specialized in government projects and working closely with major consulting offices, is seeking a professional Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in measurement, cost control, and preparation of detailed quantity reports and payment certificates. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and maintain detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Accurately measure and verify quantities of executed works on-site. Prepare interim payment certificates, cost reports, and final accounts. Review project drawings and ensure consistency with actual works. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal project teams to ensure timely approvals. Maintain well-documented records and clear quantity tracking for all project activities. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in contracting companies handling government or large-scale consultancy projects. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Primavera is an advantage. Excellent understanding of project specifications, cost analysis, and standard methods of measurement (SMM / CESMM). Proven ability to prepare accurate bills, variations, and work progress reports. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling responsibilities independently. Preferred Experience: Background in infrastructure or public building projects. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and professional environment.
