HSE Engineer JD Minimum 8 Years Exp required:

Review the Construction Safety Management Plan submitted by EPC Contractor prior to commencement of work and ensure compliance with contract documents and work requirements. Inform Client and EPC Contractor regarding deviations and corrective actions if any.

Review Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA) for construction activities submitted by contractor and mitigation plans for high-risk activities.

Conduct regular workplace inspections to ensure policies and procedures are properly implemented by EPC Contractor. Conduct safety audits, identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, and adopt countermeasures to ensure safe site activities.

Maintain records of inspection findings and prepare reports suggesting improvements.

Ensure proper PPE usage by workmen and EPC Contractor staff. Ensure safety devices such as fire protection and fencing are provided by contractor.

Review documents submitted by contractor for power tools and hand tools to ensure they are in good condition, tested, certified, and compliant with site safety requirements.

Follow up on work permit systems, inspections, and planning of safety arrangements for workplace activities.

Review SOWs (Safe Operating Procedures), OCPs (Operational Control Procedures), emergency preparedness, and response plans submitted by contractor.

Organise safety review meetings, toolbox talks, safety training, awareness sessions, and in-house training with relevant stakeholders.

Prepare safety performance reports and submit to client.

Civil Site Engineer:

Job Description

Review and understand the EPC Contractor’s Construction Philosophy and check compliance in line with contract documents and local standards.

Review the Construction Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) submitted by EPC Contractor prior to commencement of work and ensure compliance with contract documents. Inform Client and Contractor regarding deviations and corrective actions, if any.

Review the adequacy of mobilisation by EPC Contractor as per plan and advise corrective actions if required.

Review work procedures and method statements submitted by EPC Contractor and advise corrections wherever necessary.

Understand the priority of work based on the overall project schedule and advise EPC Contractor to focus on priority areas. Review availability of supply materials in sequence with construction priorities.

Supervise work as per approved drawings, specifications, and QAP. Review and ensure availability of construction quality documents, protocols, and test results as per agreed QAP by EPC Contractor. Conduct physical verification of work such as line, level, reinforcement, formwork, and embedment according to drawings.

Conduct Quality Audits at site. Witness various laboratory tests conducted by EPC Contractor. Suggest corrective actions as per requirements and inform EPC Contractor regarding compliance violations observed.

Review, check, and certify JMR (Joint Measurement Record) of work.

Attend scheduled meetings and assist the Site Project Manager in coordination with SYYT and Engineering Department for resolving issues during project execution.
