**Position:** Structural Engineer

**Experience:** **8+ Years** (GCC Experience Preferred)

**Location:** Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

### Key Responsibilities

1. Review structural and Steel Structural drawings, design calculations, specifications, and ensure compliance with the **Saudi Building Code (SBC)** and project requirements.

2. Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, MEP engineers, and site teams to resolve structural design and construction issues.

3. Prepare and review structural shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), RFIs, method statements, and technical submittals.

4. Supervise structural construction activities, including reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast, and foundations, ensuring quality and compliance with approved drawings.

5. Verify structural quantities, monitor material usage, and support planning and cost control activities.

6. Conduct site inspections, review subcontractor work, and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and project specifications.

7. Review temporary works, lifting plans, formwork, scaffolding, and construction sequencing from a structural perspective.

8. Coordinate with testing laboratories for concrete, reinforcement, structural steel, bolting, welding, and other quality control activities.

9. Support project handover by reviewing as-built drawings, inspection records, and structural documentation.

10. Proficient in **STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD**, and Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of **Revit/BIM** is an advantage.

### Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

* **Minimum 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience.**

* **GCC experience is preferred.**

* Good knowledge of the **Saudi Building Code (SBC)**, ACI, AISC, ASTM, and relevant international standards.

* Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
