Job Description:

Zamil Operation & Maintenance Company is looking for an experienced Cable Splicer to join our Electrical Maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform LV, MV & HV cable jointing, termination, and straight/branch/transition joints

2. Install Heat Shrink, Cold Shrink, and Resin type jointing kits – 3M, Raychem

3. Conduct cable laying, fault finding, and emergency cable repairs

4. Perform IR test, Continuity test, HV/VLF test after jointing and submit reports

5. Follow LOTO, PTW system and all QHSE safety procedures

6. Prepare Method Statement, Risk Assessment, and maintain documentation

7. Coordinate with Site Engineer and QHSE for maintenance activities

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years as Cable Splicer in O&M / Construction / Industrial projects

2. Qualification: Diploma in Electrical preferred

3. Skills: Knowledge of 13.8kV, 34.5kV XLPE cable jointing. Experience with Raychem/3M kits

4. Certifications: Valid MV Cable Splicer Certification from (SEC) Saudi energy

Glove test cert, Arc Flash PPE cert, Calibration certs is a plus

5. Other: Valid Saudi Driving License, Iqama Transferable. Able to work in shifts & emergency call-outs
