China Railway 18 Bureau is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Tunnel Project team.

Position: Commercial Manager – Tunnel Project

🎈Key Responsibilities:

Lead all commercial and contractual activities for the tunnel project.

Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Oversee contract administration, claims, variations, and dispute resolution.

Review and negotiate subcontract agreements and supplier contracts.

Monitor project costs and ensure commercial performance aligns with project objectives.

Prepare payment applications, valuations, and final accounts.

Coordinate with the project management, engineering, procurement, and finance teams.

Identify commercial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.

Support senior management with commercial reporting and strategic decision-making.

🎈Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.

Minimum 20+ years of commercial management experience.

Mandatory experience in tunnel construction projects.

Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, claims management, cost control, and contract administration.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in commercial management software and Microsoft Office.
