🚨 We’re Hiring Laydown Area Manager CHEC Arena Block Project Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC Arabia) is looking for an experienced Laydown Area Manager to join our prestigious Arena Block Project in Diriyah, Riyadh.

About the Project

The CHEC Arena Block Project is one of Saudi Arabia’s landmark developments, comprising a world-class indoor arena, premium office buildings, mixed-use developments, infrastructure, utilities, fit-out works, and public realm construction.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to manage the project’s laydown yards, material storage areas, logistics coordination, and material flow to support safe and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Manage laydown yards, storage compounds, and logistics areas.

✔ Plan and optimize material storage, equipment allocation, and temporary facilities.

✔ Coordinate material receiving, inspection, storage, preservation, and issuance.

✔ Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction work fronts.

✔ Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, QA/QC, Logistics, and subcontractors.

✔ Maintain accurate inventory and material tracking records.

✔ Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and project logistics procedures.

✔ Supervise laydown yard personnel and daily operations.

✔ Coordinate lifting activities, heavy equipment movements, and delivery schedules.

✔ Maintain excellent housekeeping, security, and efficient utilization of laydown areas.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction logistics, laydown yard management, warehouse operations, and material control.

Experience on mega projects, stadiums, commercial developments, mixed-use, or infrastructure projects.

Strong leadership, planning, communication, and coordination skills.

GCC and Saudi Arabia experience is highly preferred.

Employment Terms

📍 Candidates currently based in Riyadh are preferred.

⚡ Immediate mobilization is required.

✅ Ajeer Contract is mandatory.

💼 This position is offered on a Lump-Sum Salary Package.
