Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a qualified Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer with strong experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coordinate, and execute Electrical and Instrumentation project activities.

• Prepare & review project specifications, drawings, scope of work, method statements, and other technical documents.

• Coordinate with end-user, clients,vendors, subcontractors, and site teams.

• Ensure work is executed as per project requirements, approved drawings, standards, and safety procedures.

• Support project planning, material coordination, site execution, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, site observations, and project documentation.

• Ensure compliance with applicable SABIC, Saudi Aramco, and client procedures.

• Support multidisciplinary coordination with mechanical, civil, and project management teams.

• Assist in resolving technical issues related to Electrical and Instrumentation works at site.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors.

• Total experience should preferably be between 5 to 7 years.

• Good technical experience in both Electrical and Instrumentation works.

• Knowledge of SABIC and Saudi Aramco procedures, standards, and work practices.

• Experience in site execution, project coordination, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, P&IDs, ILDs,, SLDs, layouts, datasheets, technical documents and other drawings.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in live plant, shutdown, and brownfield environments.

• Familiarity with permit-to-work systems, safety procedures, and site work requirements.

• Ability to manage small to medium project teams or support multidisciplinary project teams.

• Good understanding of Electrical systems, field instruments, control valves, junction boxes, panels, cables, terminations, loop checks, and commissioning activities.

Role Assignment:

The candidate may be assigned as:

• A project lead for Electrical and Instrumentation scope, or

• A team member within a multidisciplinary project team depending on project requirements.
