Job requirements for the mechanical engineer :

“Must be Experience in oil, gas, petrochemical, chemical, fertilizer, or related sectors.”

The position supports the Superintendent and is responsible for improving the reliability, safety, and efficiency of mechanical equipment through structured maintenance systems, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, shutdown and overhaul planning, and the development of maintenance procedures. It also requires close coordination with internal teams and external vendors to ensure safe, effective, and timely maintenance execution.

The position demands strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, solid analytical and problem-solving ability, and relevant industry experience in oil, gas, petrochemical, chemical, fertilizer, or related sectors. Overall, the role is critical to maintaining operational continuity, reducing repeat failures, and supporting safe plant performance.

He should be aware of systems like: MOC, PHA, PSSR, Risk assessment, RCA etc. SAP working experience shall be available with the candidate.
