QA/QC Manager – Job Description

1. Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with project requirements and company standards.

2. Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable Saudi Building Codes.

3. Lead and supervise the QA/QC team, including QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors, to ensure effective quality control throughout the project.

4. Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality-related documentation prior to construction activities.

5. Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and relevant project teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.

6. Monitor the quality of civil, architectural, structural, and MEP works from construction through project completion and handover.

7. Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, preventive actions, and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.

8. Conduct internal quality audits, site inspections, and quality performance reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

9. Prepare and submit periodic quality reports, including inspection records, audit findings, NCR status, and quality performance indicators to project management.

10. Ensure all quality documentation, material approvals, inspection records, testing reports, and project handover documents are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.

11. Provide quality training and guidance to project personnel to promote compliance with quality standards and best construction practices.

12. Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors on all quality-related matters and support the successful completion and handover of housing and villa projects.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

* Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC within the construction industry.

* At least 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Manager on housing, villa, or residential construction projects.

* Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.

* Thorough knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC), ISO 9001:2015, construction quality standards, and inspection procedures.

* Experience in quality management for civil, architectural, structural, and MEP works.

* Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and construction document management systems.

* Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is preferred.
