Procurement Quality Control Supervisor

1.0 Personnel Qualification Requirements

 Saudi Aramco Project Experience.

 The candidate shall have a university degree and seven (7) years of experience in inspection, or a high school diploma with ten (10) years of experience in inspection with a minimum of three (3) years directly related to supervision of vendor inspection activities in the Contract Scope of WORK (e.g.; oil, gas and petrochemical projects, Infrastructure, communication).

2.0 Job Description

 Review MR, OPR, MTA and purchase orders for compliance with Aramco’s quality standards and contract requirements.

 Preparation of inspection assignment packages (IAPs) in line with Schedule Q requirements.

 Arranging in-process and final inspection, vendor Pre-Inspection Meetings & Kick Off Meetings.

 Review vendor Inspection and Test Plan, and vendor Sub-Vendor List.

 Monitoring Procurement Inspection status, and vendor sub-orders.

 Review TPI reports and management for inspection activities at vendor premises.

 Prepare special 175 form, if deemed necessary for materials & equipment without existing IR form.

 Appraises product quality in accordance with the Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Technical Specifications, Drawings and Quality Plans.

 On time submission of deliverables (WFSR, TWLA, IR, IRNs and IDRs) to the client.

 Prepare weekly and monthly reports as per project requirements.

 Review of Manufacturing Data book after completion of purchase order.

 Ensure compliance with all Quality policy, process, and procedures.

 In-depth knowledge of Aramco’s standards in material procurement.

 Identifying risk related to Procurement Quality inspection.

 Coordinate with COMPANY regarding procurement quality related activities.

 Assess Subcontractors and Vendors capability to meet the Quality requirements of the Project.

 Identify non-quality trends and advise Project Quality Manager for resolution.

 Establish effective corrective, corrective action/preventive action plan to ensure that deficiencies do not re- occur.

 Ensure lessons identified and recorded for Internal Quality Failures and Supplier performance issues.

 Record project Lessons identified for procurement activities.

 Support cost control team with supporting documentation for invoicing purposes.

 Drive the One team approach on project and cross function.

 Assist procurement team in evaluating and addressing project quality requirements that are identified in invitations to bid.

 Ensure all project personnel are aware of the Quality requirements; quality inductions completed and organize training sessions as needed.

 Utilize the knowledge management tools available to assist Quality to capitalize from Lessons Learned and to perform in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently.

 Ensure project quality requirements compliance for procurement phase of the project and effective implementation of the project quality management system.

 Coordination, preparation, establishment and implementation of the Project Quality procedures.

 Review Vendor Procedure , include but not limited to WPS/PQR, NDE, PMI, Welding Repair, FAT, SAT, Painting etc.
