Mechanical Engineer (Aramco Pipeline Project Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in Saudi Aramco pipeline projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical and pipeline construction activities, ensuring compliance with Aramco standards, project specifications, quality requirements, and HSE regulations. The role includes engineering support, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret pipeline drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, alignment sheets, and construction specifications.

Supervise pipeline fabrication, welding, installation, hydrotesting, and commissioning activities.

Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, including SAES, SAMSS, SAIC, and project requirements.

Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Procurement, and Construction teams.

Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to approved procedures and schedules.

Conduct site inspections and verify materials such as pipes, valves, fittings, and mechanical equipment.

Prepare technical reports, work progress reports, RFIs, NCRs, and project documentation.

Support mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with Aramco safety regulations and permit-to-work requirements.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical solutions to site issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas construction projects.

Minimum 3–5 years of Saudi Aramco pipeline project experience.

Strong knowledge of pipeline construction, welding, hydrotesting, and commissioning activities.

Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards, procedures, and specifications.

Ability to read and review engineering drawings and technical documents.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software.
