Hiring – Senior Estimation Engineer (Oil & Gas / Steel Fabrication)

We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Estimation Engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas and Steel Fabrication to join our team in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in preparing accurate quotations and cost estimates for fabrication projects and possess strong knowledge of current market prices, vendor networks, and Quality Control (QC) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review RFQs, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.

* Prepare detailed technical and commercial quotations.

* Perform Material Take-Offs (MTO) and cost estimations.

* Estimate material, labor, welding, painting, and fabrication costs.

* Coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.

* Maintain and update market price databases for materials and subcontractors.

* Evaluate project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.

* Work closely with engineering, production, QC, and sales teams.

* Support tender submissions and customer clarifications.

Quality Control Knowledge Required:

The candidate should have a solid understanding of:

* WPS/PQR requirements

* Material traceability

* NDT methods (VT, PT, MT, UT)

* Dimensional inspections

* Painting inspections

* Inspection Test Plans (ITP)

* Welding and fabrication standards

Preferred Experience:

* 5–10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas and Steel Fabrication industries.

* Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia market prices and supplier networks.

* Experience with structural steel, skids, pipe racks, equipment packages, and modular fabrication projects.

* Ability to read fabrication drawings and technical specifications.

* Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, ASME, API, AWS, and DNV standards is an advantage.

Required Skills:

* Cost estimation and quotation preparation

* Material Take-Off (MTO)

* Technical bid preparation

* Advanced Excel skills

* Strong communication and analytical abilities

Candidates with both estimation and QC experience will be highly preferred.
