Experienced Male local hire Accountant Cum Cost Controller for Hotel Industry.

An Accountant cum Cost Controller in the hotel industry manages daily financial operations while actively monitoring and optimizing expenses. They ensure hotel profitability by tracking food, beverage, and operational costs, performing variance analysis, and coordinating with purchasing and department heads to implement cost-saving measures.

Core Responsibilities

• Cost Control & Analysis: Monitor Food & Beverage (F&B) and operational costs, conduct variance analyses, and highlight discrepancies.

• Inventory Management: Conduct routine inventory audits, stock reconciliations, and ensure proper valuation of consumables and assets.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and month-end financial statements, reconciliations, and closing reports.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist management in developing departmental budgets, financial planning, and tracking expenditures against budgets.

• Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal company policies.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CMA is highly preferred.

• Experience: Typically requires 2–5 years of experience in cost control or financial accounting within the hospitality industry.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to translate raw cost data into actionable, strategic insights for management.

• 8 Hours Duty

• Weekly one day off.

• Salary depending on experience. (BHD250.000 to 350.000).

• Visa, Accommodation & Transport provided by the company.
